I just started it today because a few people at work told me it’s really good. just wanted to get a few more opinions! One girl at work told me that she lost 10 lbs in the first week. that sounds a little exaggerated .but ya never know. LoL

I have been looking into trying Alli pills. I have been doing some research to see if it would be effective. I have read a lot about the gastrointestinal side effects, including constantly having to go to the bathroom, or oily anal leakage. A lot of reviews that I have read, said that they only get those bad side effects if they go over their alllowed fat grams per meal.

They said that it was kind of a good incentive to not eat outside of your allowed fat grams or else you are “punished” with those bad sie effects. i kind of thought the same thing. I have a hard time sticking with diets because it’s so easy and gratifying to just eat what I want to eat. A lot of times I just eat something without thinking and forget what things i ate, then later am cursing myself that I forgot about my diet. I would like to hear what people’s first hand experiences are with Alli, how unbearable the sie effects were, if the side effects were a result of “cheating” on the diet, and how effective Alli was for you. Thanks!!

Has anyone tried the HCG diet.  From what I read and hear its a homopathic drop that you drop under your tounge and there is a 500 calorie a day diet that you do with it.  My sis n law told me about it.  She did it for 27 days and lost 30 pounds in those 27 days.  I ordered some so im gona try it out.  Just wondered if anyone else had tried it and what the results were.

I Love it so far, I thought like you abou the 500 calories that I would never be able to do it, but Im doing it and its the only diet I have ever stuck with really because im seeing results.  The reason I love it so much is that im not really hungry and im losing not only pounds but inches too.  Im on day 25 and I have stalled but they say that can happen and when  you stall for 4 days you do what is called an apple day to get you out of the stall.  Im doing it today and so far so good. Beats other pills like Decarb and XLS in my opinion

My mum and my dad are doing it too they started after me and my dad he is on like day 14 and down 15lbs already and my mum is down 12 I think she had to do a apple day yesterday.  But my dad is 5lbs away from his goal.  Average weight lose with this stuff is a pound a day.   So if you did it for two months you could lose 60 pounds.  And im not much on exercise and I like this because you dont have to exercise and I havent been able to becaue the cal. are so low.  If you google Mediral HCG Detox Drops thats what I order online  in 1 oz bottles.

I pay 34.99 plus shipping and I get them in about 5 days.  Your first 2 days on the drops you do what is called a load and you eat as many calories you can in those 2 days then you start the 500 cal diet.  I will post the name of the book I go by you can read the protocal online and then ill post the list of foods you can eat on the plan if you have any questions just ask me.  I dont sell it or anything I just am excited cause its working for me.  So far ive lost 22.9 lbs.

I see a lot about phentermine. From what I gather it’s a prescription diet pill that actually works. Is that correct?

My doctor is kind of ‘anti-medication’. I went to him before about weight loss advice thinking (hoping) he would prescribe me some kind of diet pill only to be told he doesn’t like prescribing amphetamines. Period. He prescribed Wellbutrin because one of the side effects is weight loss. It didn’t work. Not even a little.

What I’m looking for is something that will boost my energy ( a lot ) and suppress my appetite without making me feel like I have to throw up all the time. Can anyone advise me on what I can take that will do this (that you know works) and that is OTC due to my doctor’s stance on weight-loss meds?

In the event that I switch doctors, or convince my doctor that I need something like this to be able to lose weight, does insurance cover weight-loss meds? I have Blue Cross First Priority insurance.

Thanks for any info/advice you can give.
